Getting to Indianapolis
If you want to spend one week in Indianapolis, you first have to get there.
Getting to the city from a place far away from the city is easy to do. That's because you can find an airport in the city. This airport connects the city to various places in the US and to other countries.
You can also get to the city by car for your 7 days in Indianapolis. There are lots of large cities near Indianapolis.
For example, you can reach Indianapolis from Louisville in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Furthermore, the city is only 2 hours away from Cincinnati. And from Chicago, you can reach the city in about 3 hours.
Thus, traveling by car is very doable! And having your own car with you when you are in the city is also very convenient when you go to this itinerary's stops.
Besides that, you can also reach the city by bus from other cities in the United States.
For example, the bus company Greyhound has routes from Chicago. This is a very affordable way to get to Indianapolis.
