1. Go to the Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is the most famous attraction in Paris. It is just a remarkable building to see and you cannot visit Paris without seeing it.
Also, you can get a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower from a lot of different places, such as Trocadéro and Champs de Mars, which make for stunning photos.
The view from Champ de Mars looks even better when you visit Paris in Spring. This is because then there are beautiful pink blossoms.
Furthermore, you should really go to the top of the structure! You can choose to go by either the elevator or the stairs. The view of the city from here is definitely worth your time!
The Eiffel Tower is a very romantic sight as well. Because of that, lots of marriage proposals in Paris take place here.
2. Visit the Louvre
The Louvre is one of the best museums in Paris. At the Louvre you can see so many objects of art, you will probably need to come back a second time to see all of it!
The most famous work of the museum is the Mona Lisa. I would really recommend going to this museum!
Also, the building in which the Louvre is located is very beautiful as well, with a combination of both modern and classical architecture.
3. See the Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe is another very famous sight of Paris and a beautiful photo spot in Paris. Furthermore, the monument is located next to the Champs-Élysées and looks impressive from below.
However, you can also go to the top of the monument and get a beautiful view over the Champs-Élysées and the rest of the city (including the Eiffel Tower). This view is incredible!
I would recommend going after sunset to see all the beautiful lights of the city from here.
4. Stroll along the Champs-Élysées
Directly from the Arc de Triomphe, you can go to the Champs-Élysées, which is a very long promenade where many (often luxurious) shops can be found.
It is the perfect place to go shopping in a lovely Parisian setting.
5. Visit the Notre-Dame
Another very famous building is the Notre-Dame and you should definitely go here when in Paris!
6. See Montmartre
Montmartre is one of the neighborhoods of Paris and is known for its small streets and art history. It is here where many world-renowned painters and other artists have lived.
Also, you can nowadays find many painters on a square. Furthermore, there are many beautiful houses here, such as La Maison Rose.
7. Go to the Sacre-Coeur
The Sacre-Coeur is located in the middle of Montmartre and looks very beautiful! You can enter the church for free and you can to the top (although that will cost you a bit) to get to the highest point of Paris.
Besides going inside the church, there are lots of other free things to do in Paris.
8. Shop at Galeries Lafayette
Galeries Lafayette is a lovely department store where you can shop a lot. Also, the place has beautiful displays that are really fun to see.
Moreover, it has a lovely viewing platform from where you can get a view over the city from a whole different place of Paris.
