1. Ride the Dubrovnik Cable Car

One of the best things to do in Dubrovnik is riding the Dubrovnik Cable Car. This is a wonderful ride leading you to the Imperial Fort on the top of the Srđ hill. During the ride you can see the city of Dubrovnik with its ancient walls and seafront from above, which is breathtaking! Also, the Imperial Fort is really interesting as it has a rich history. 2. See the walls of Dubrovnik

The walls of Dubrovnik are walls made of stone that were used to protect Dubrovnik against enemies. Moreover, they were never breached by outsiders. Also, they are truly unique and spectacular and they are listed as a World Heritage Site on the UNESCO list. You can use this website to get more details.

3. Head to Rector's Palace

Go to the Rector's Palace for a beautiful building in the middle of Dubrovnik. The palace was in use between the 14th and the 18th century in the time of the Republic of Ragusa. 4. Stroll along Stradun

Stradun is the main street of the city and it is located in the Old Town. There are many shops here and also there is beautiful old architecture. Also, because the street is so centrally located there are many things nearby, where you can go next.

5. Go to the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

A beautiful cathedral is the Dubrovnik Cathedral (or Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary). Construction on the churh started at the end of the 17th century. Furthermore, an English king, Richard the Lion Heart, paid for part of the the construction. Not only is the outside of the church amazing, the interior is beautiful as well and there are many artworks.

Close to this cathedral is also one of the best restaurants of Dubrovnik.

6. Visit the MOMAD Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik

One of the best museums in Dubrovnik is the MOMAD Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik. The collection of the museum is mainly dedicated to modern Croatian art at the end of the 19th century. Furthermore, the museum focuses on displaying contemporary art from Croatia and abroad.
