1. Panoramic view

For the best view of the city, you can go to the Saint-Martin Gardens.

From here you can have a panoramic view of the Port de Fontvieille while walking in a beautiful park.

Besides that, this is also one of the best photo spots in Monaco.

2. Visit the Japanese Garden

The Japanese garden is a public park in Monaco where you can relax in beautifully designed nature. Entry is free! If you like nature, going here is great.

3. Go to the Museum of Old Monaco

On Wednesdays and Fridays in the summer period, you can go to the Museum of Old Monaco and get free admission.

In this museum, you can find several objects relating to the history of Monaco, including paintings and costumes.

4. See the Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix is a formula 1 race that is held annually every last weekend of May.

The race is held on a course in the narrow streets of Monaco. It is truly a unique event, and if you are in Monaco at the time, you should definitely see it! It's one of the reasons to visit Monaco.

5. See contemporary art in a Villa

The Nouveau Musée National de Monaco is a museum that showcases contemporary art through temporary art displays.

The museum is located in two villas, Villa Paloma and Villa Sauber, two beautiful Belle Epoque villas.

That way you can enjoy both the artworks and the buildings the art is in. Each Sunday you can visit the museum for free.

6. Visit the Monte Carlo Casino

The Monte Carlo Casino is probably the most famous and exclusive casino in the world.

It was featured in many James Bond movies and you can visit it too for free, even when you don't want to gamble.

Parts of the casino are free to enter. Fun fact, residents of Monaco are not allowed to gamble at the casino.
