1. See some free art

For a great collection of art and one of the largest art museums of the United States, go to the Dallas Museum of Art. Here you find artworks covering a vast range of time from all over the world. Furthermore, artists whose work is on display here include Renoir, Rodin, and Monet. This is one of the best things to do in Dallas even if it wasn't free.

2. Enjoy free comedy

In for a laugh? Then the Dallas Comedy House is the place for you. You will regularly find here free improvisation shows. For more information on the schedule check out their website!

3. Stroll through the park

Klyde Warren Park is a urban park which is open to the public. It is the perfect place to go for a relaxing stroll, a good work out, to picnick, or to do something else you like to do in a park!

4. Listen to free music

If you are looking for free music while you are in Dallas you should definitely check out the Fine Arts Chamber Players. You can go here for some lovely classical music concerts. For the schedule of upcoming concerts, check out this page!

5. Ride along in a trolley

The McKinney Avenue Trolley can be boarded for free every day of the year. The trolley follows a track from Uptown Dallas to the Art District in Downtown Dallas. It is the perfect way to move through the city. Thus, it is one of the best free things to do in Dallas!

6. Experience asian art

Another great museum that can be visited for free in Dallas is the Crow Museum of Asian Art. You will find here art from all kinds of countries in Asia, such as China, Japan, Korea, and India. Furthermore, the art on display includes everything from more ancient times to the present.
