Explore Downtown Columbus
One of the best ways to get to know the city during one week in Columbus is by exploring downtown.
In Downtown Columbus, you find a lot of shops, which makes this a great place for shopping!

Also, there are lots of benches where you can sit down! This makes the park great for spending some time.
The name of the park comes from the German poet Friedrich von Schiller and you can see a statue of him in the park. So this can be interesting as well.
Walk Through German Village
Now it is time to explore German Village. You have to see this when you're 7 days in Columbus!
This is a historic neighborhood that you should see when you are one week in Columbus! The park is actually part of this area, but there is so much more!
The atmosphere of this place is lovely and the area looks great!

When you are one week in Columbus, you should definitely go to the Scioto Mile.

One of the most beautiful parks in Columbus is the Columbus Park of Roses.

This is a very charming arts neighborhood, which makes the atmosphere great!

Go to North Market Downtown
Nestled between Short North Arts District and Downtown, you find North Market Downtown.

Day 6: A Day With Fun Activities
Walk Through Topiary Park
Topiary Park is another great park to visit when you are a week in Columbus.
You find this park in Downtown Columbus, which makes it very accessible.
What's great about this park is that the inspiration for it came from a painting.
You find here topiaries trimmed in such a way that they look like figures. These figures are from the painting "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte". This is a painting by Georges Seurat.
See the Kelton House Museum & Garden
After walking around Topiary Park, go to the Kelton House Museum and Garden!
This is a mansion with beautiful architecture. The history of the house dates back to the year 1852, which is very interesting!
