5. See live musical performances

For free live musical performances, you should definitely go to the Levitt Shell.

A free walking tour is one of the best ways to experience a city more thoroughly because you can learn a lot during such a tour.

During such a tour you can discover the city at the hand of a local guide and learn more about the history and culture.

One of the best free walking tours in Memphis is the one by Jimmy Ogle that happens several days during the week.
