1. Visit a park

There are so many parks in Marrakesh that you can visit. All are free to enter. This is great if you like nature.

2. See art galleries

There are also a lot of art galleries in Marrakesh offering free admission.

Most of them are quite small and really great to visit when you are into art.

A few of them are Ministero del Gusto, La Qoubba Galerie D’Art, and La Galerie Bleue.

3. Walls of the Medina

The old city of Marrakesh (medina) is surrounded by ancient walls that separate it from the rest of the city.

In the past, it served to protect the city from outsiders.

You can walk on top of the walls and get a view over the city at the same time for free.

4. Visit the souks

The souks in the medina of Marrakesh are really great to visit.

Here you can find a lot of traditional shops selling all kinds of products, from quality fabric to pottery to antiques and jewelry.

It's a great experience to be here, even if you don't want to buy anything!

5. Koutoubia Mosque

The Koutoubia Mosque is the largest mosque in Marrakesh. The mosque was created in the 12th century and is an important example of Morrocan architecture.

You can visit the gardens surrounding the mosque while enjoying the beauty of the building, which is a great experience.

Only if you're Muslim, you're allowed to visit the inside of the mosque.

Because the building looks beautiful, this is one of the best photo spots in Marrakesh.
