1. Relax at the park

There are so many parks in Calgary, there is always a great park near you!

At a park, you can relax, walk, picnic, or do anything else you would like to do here.

Also, you get to enjoy the beautiful nature these parks have to offer.

Furthermore, the parks can be entered for free every day of the year. For more information on which parks there are in Calgary and some practical information, check out this page!

2. Do a free walking tour

A free walking tour is a great way to experience all a new city has to offer. For a great walk, do the daily ones by WalkTheYYC.

During these walks, you will learn a lot about the history and sights of Calgary at the hand of a local guide.

Furthermore, there are many themes of walks to choose from, so there is always something for your liking!

Although this walk is completely free, tipping is recommended!

3. Visit a museum for free

Some museums in Calgary can be visited for free during certain days of the month. And there are many interesting museums in the city!

For example, go to the Glenbow! At this museum, you can find a great collection of primarily modern and contemporary artworks.

Going to a concert is always a good idea, especially when you can do it for free.
