2. Museum of American Revolution

The Museum of American Revolution is dedicated to explaining the events that happened during the American Revolution.

You can find thousands of objects that together tell the story of what happened.

The types of objects you can find here include sculptures, weapons, and manuscripts. So there's a lot to see in this museum.

3. National Museum of American Jewish History

At the National Museum of American Jewish History, you learn about the history of Jewish people in the United States.

Besides that, it strives to encourage people to more appreciate diversity and the freedoms of the United States.

Exhibitions are temporary, but each exhibit uses a selection of the 20,000 objects in the collection of the museum.

4. Penn Museum

The Penn Museum is an archaeology museum of the University of Pennsylvania.

Here you find artifacts from all parts of the world.

You can find here, for example, a vast range of sculptures from Africa, an important crystal ball from China, an extensive collection of Egyptian mummies and statues, and a collection of objects from the Royal Tombs of Ur.

5. Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts

The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts is the first and oldest museum (founded in 1805) for art in the United States.

Here you can see a great collection of American works, both from historic times as well as from more modern and contemporary times.
