Furthermore, there are regular free public lectures that you can attend to learn about natural history.

The museum is the most visited museum of Harvard University. And it is one of the best things you can do in Boston.

2. Museum of Fine Arts

This museum houses one of the largest collections of arts in the United States, with only the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City having more paintings.

Many different types of art can be found here, including ancient Egyptian objects, European paintings, Japanese potting, and much more.

Some of the most notable works displayed here include paintings by Rembrandt, Monet, and Van Gogh, and work by Jon Singleton Copley.

That's why it's really one of the best museums in Boston!

There's no admission fee on Wednesdays, which is why this is also one of the best free things to do in Boston!

3. Institute of Contemporary Art

The Institue of Contemporary Art is the place for you if you want to see contemporary art while you are in Boston. The museum displays a diverse collection of artworks, but exhibitions at the museum change frequently, so even if you have been to the museum before, there is probably something different when you visit. Furthermore, the building itself is also a work of modern art, thereby making a visit to the museum even more worthwhile.

4. John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum & Library

At the John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum & Library, you can find all kinds of objects and information relating to United States President John F. Kennedy.

It is a great place to learn more about John F. Kennedy and what he has done while in office.

Furthermore, you can find a collection of objects from Ernest Hemingway inside the library.

5. Museum of Science

At the Museum of Science, you can find all kinds of interactive exhibits relating to science.

The exhibits change every season, so there is always something new when you visit! This makes the museum even more interesting.

However, there are also a number of permanent exhibits, which include an exhibit focused on human life, an exhibit with dinosaur fossils, and a butterfly garden where you can walk among several exotic butterflies and plants.
