In this article, you'll find the 8 best Instagram photo spots in Cape Town. Cape Town is a very photogenic city in South Africa with many magnificent spots.

I'll show you some great viewpoints to take a photo of, but also some beautiful colorful places!

1. Lion’s Head Peak

The first perfect photo spot is Lion's Head Peak. This viewpoint is just so magnificent and it makes me want to go to Cape Town straight away!

What's great is that this is also one of the best free things to do in Cape Town.

2. Bo-Kaap

This area in Cape Town is famous for its brightly colored houses which are really perfect for a photo.

If you're traveling through Cape Town, I'd really recommend going to this area.

You can make many photos here because there are so many colors!

3. Table Mountain National Park

I would highly recommend visiting Table Mountain National Park when you're in Cape Town.

The viewpoints of the park are just perfect and totally Instagram-worthy.

4. Muizenberg Beach

Muizenberg Beach is very photogenic, especially the colorful houses! All those colors will look amazing on your Instagram feed.

You could try to wear a very colorful outfit that matches the little buildings on the beach!

5. Stellenbosch (47 minutes from Cape Town)

Stellenbosch is near Cape Town, it's only a ride of 47 minutes.

The place is really photogenic and perfect for Instagram.

Especially the spot of the photo below is really magnificent in my opinion.

6. Chapman’s Peak Drive (38 minutes from Cape Town)

If you want to make an epic photo, you should really drive 38 minutes and go to this gorgeous place!

Especially during sunset, this spot is truly the best spot ever to make a photo.

7. The Silo Hotel

If you're looking for a very Instagrammable place to stay, you should definitely check out the Silo Hotel.

This is a five-star hotel, and if you're staying here, you can make the best Instagram photos. The hotel looks so beautiful! And the view from the hotel is amazing.

8. Boulders Beach

Boulders Beach is a beach that is famous because there is a colony of penguins settled.

Furthermore, Boulders Beach Simon's Town is easily accessible from Cape Town. You can just drive for 48 minutes, but you can also travel by train.
