You can also do a trip from Flagstaff to Sedona. For this, you can travel with the bus company Flixbus. And you can reach the town within 45 minutes.

From Phoenix, you can reach the town of Sedona within 2 hours. The total distance between the two places is about 115 miles (or 185 kilometers).
The distance from the city of Flagstaff is about 30 miles (or 48 kilometers) and this takes you about 45 minutes.
To reach the town from Prescott, you have to drive about 70 miles (or 112 kilometers). This journey takes about 1.5 hours to complete!

You'll start your day with breakfast at a very nice and unique place. After that, you're going to see wonderful nature, rock formations, a museum and more!
Breakfast at Local Juicery
Let's start your first day in Sedona with breakfast at Local Juicery!
Local Juicery is a very stylish place in Sedona where you can have delicious food and drinks.
What I love the most about this place is the story of it. The owners of Local Juicery are Mike and Summer Sanders. They started the place in 2014.
Back then, Summer had a baby in her sling and at the same time, she pressed juice at pop-up shops. There, she shared her love for vegan food and people liked it a lot.
For a long time, it was her dream to open a cafe and so she did. She wanted the Local Juicery to be a place that brings people together.
Nowadays, Local Juicery has two locations. One of the locations is in Sedona and the other one is in Flagstaff.
Local Juicery focuses on healthy food which is incredible! The food isn't only healthy, it's also very delicious.
For example, the avocado toast at Local Juicery is great for breakfast. The avocado toast has delicious ingredients, such as avocado, chipotle flakes, and microgreens.
And there are so many other amazing dishes on the menu of Local Juicery! For example, there are delicious waffles and breakfast bowls.
One of the breakfast bowls is the dragon bowl. The dragon bowl has delicious ingredients, such as raspberries, almond butter, and honey.
You can also try a smoothie at this place. They serve classic smoothies. But you can also have one of the green smoothies or one of the fruit and nut smoothies. It's great to start the first day of your 2 days in Sedona with one of these.
What I also love about Local Juicery is that Mike and Summer care a lot about the quality of the food.

The Sedona Heritage Museum is a must-see place when you are spending 2 days in Sedona.
This is the best place to learn about the history of Sedona. Everything about this place focuses on the story of the town. When you go here, you'll get a good impression of what the town is about!
Knowing the history makes the other places in the town even better because you know the origin of the town.
At the museum, you find very interesting objects. These objects are part of a lot of changing exhibitions that are there for several months of the year.
Each exhibit focuses on a particular part of the town's history.
What each exhibit has in common is that there are real objects that played a role in the history of the town. This can be both from a long time ago and from more recent times. That's why this is one of the best things to do when you're 48 hours in Sedona.

Red Rock State Park
Red Rock State Park is another beautiful place to visit when you are 2 days in Sedona.
What makes this park great is that there is a lot of nature that you can see here and there are many rock formations. This is incredible to see!
Moreover, there are lots of hiking trails at Red Rock State Park. These trails lead you to the most beautiful places in the park.
Besides that, there is a lot of wildlife and you can see lots of these animals here. For example, there are mule deer, bobcats, and more.
When you are only 48 hours in Sedona, you don't have a lot of time to explore all there is at this park. The park has much more to see. When you have more time in Sedona, I recommend going here for a day or for half a day.
You can reach Red Rock State Park by car within 18 minutes. The total distance is 9.4 miles (or 15.1 kilometers), which is very doable by car.
Dinner at Creekside American Bistro
It's time for dinner! If you follow this itinerary for 2 days in Sedona, you'll have dinner at Creekside American Bistro.
Creekside American Bistro is one of the best restaurants in Sedona. Having dinner at this place is amazing as the restaurant overlooks Oak Creek.

If you're going to have dinner here, you can sit indoors. But you can also decide to have dinner on one of the outdoor decks of the place.
I'd recommend having diner on one of the outdoor decks as this allows you to admire the wonderful views more.

The menu of the place even won an award. Furthermore, the menu changes every season. And the place uses ingredients from a local source. So that's great!
If you're going here, I'd definitely recommend having the bruschetta. The bruschetta at Creekside American Bistro is delicious. But there are so many delicious dishes on the menu, so I'd recommend having a look at it yourself.
Also, the atmosphere at the place is very good. The restaurant is welcoming and the staff is very friendly. So this is one of the best places in Sedona to have dinner on your first day for sure!

After breakfast, it is time to see some of the art of the town. When you're 48 hours in Sedona, it's fun to see some art.
The best place for that in Sedona is the Sedona Arts Center. Here you find a lot of activities related to the art scene of Sedona.
One of the best things about this place is the Fine Art Gallery.
At the Fine Art Gallery, you can see beautiful art! On display, you can find art created by local artists.
There is a large variety in the type of art you find here. For example, there are paintings, ceramics, photos, and jewelry.
